Regesh Family and Child Services is known for its clinical treatment of children, youth and families that come from diverse communities. We went through many transitions to build accessible and responsive services we offer today.
We rely on donations to sustain our work. We provide subsidies for our services based on family income. We aim to provide services to everyone seeking our help.

Our History
1983
Regesh opened its doors as a residential short-term treatment facility for teens in Calgary.
1985
Extensive aftercare services geared to difficult youth and dysfunctional families are added.
1986
Regesh moved to Toronto and opened the first of 3 residential treatment homes for pre-teens.
1993
Joint venture with Jewish Family and Child Services to create two Jewish treatment foster homes with full staff support.
2003
Family Therapy program is launched.
2004
Change of focus from residential care to outpatient care for children, youth, and families.
2005
High On Success mentoring program for at risk youth (16 to 24 years) is introduced.
2006
Anger Management Clinic is launched.
2007
Started Get off the Streets summer day program and a school-based Reconnecting Youth program.
2012
Play Therapy program for children is added.
2015
Launched 3 new programs: 8-week Connected Parents, Thriving Kids Parenting Workshop, and 16-hour Reconnecting Teachers Workshop.
2020
Launched Empowering Youth Employment Readiness Program (EYER) for youth 17-29.
