Welcome to the Regesh Child and Adolescent Therapy Program! Our therapists are trained in a variety of models including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). We provide services to children aged 3-16 coping with issues such as:
- Poor self-esteem
- Bullying (and other social difficulties)
- Difficulty adjusting to a significant change (such as moving, starting at a new school, birth of a sibling)
Interventions are selected and adapted to fit the child’s age, interests, and treatment needs. We work with children individually and in family therapy, and we offer parent consultation.
Our role is to provide a safe and therapeutic environment in which your child can openly express his or her thoughts and feelings through activities.
Since children typically have difficulty talking about their issues, we use engaging play-based activities, such as therapeutic games and art, to make it easier for them to express themselves.
We will begin by completing an assessment on your child. The information that you provide about your child will be an important part of this assessment. Once the assessment is completed, we will meet to provide you with feedback. We will then work together to come up with treatment goals that best fit the needs of your child and family.

Statements can be submitted to your insurance/health benefits provider for reimbursement. We can provide you with an invoice that you can submit directly to your insurance/work health benefits provider. Please check with your insurance/health benefits provider to see if you are covered and what the reimbursement would be.
Questions to ask your insurance/health benefits provider:
- Do I have insurance benefits for my family that include a Registered Social Worker (RSW)?
- How much per session per year do my benefits cover?
- Do I need approval from my primary care physician?
