Edwin Schild (BA, MSc)

Executive Director

Ed has extensive experience in designing, consulting and running various treatment modalities, including residential treatment group and foster homes. He has trained many interns over the years and has taught multiple courses at conferences across North America. Ed has devoted a lot of his work toward various committee and board engagements over the years. He continues his administrative duties while also seeing clients at Regesh in a lessened capacity as of 2023.



Mykaela Miersch (Social Service Worker Graduate)

Program Facilitator & Teacher

Mykaela teaches and facilitates our Youth Employment Program, EYER, proudly funded by the Government of Canada. For her, the best part of working at Regesh is that she sees her students authentically engage and come out of their shells. Mykaela feels inspired to make a difference in their lives by helping them grow as individuals. An alumni from the Social Service Worker Program at Niagara College, Mykaela has passionately worked with youth in foster homes and group homes for the past 4 years.

Tyler Yanch (Child & Youth Worker)

Assistant Facilitator

Tyler has worked with Regesh’s Reconnecting Youth Program and is back to assist the facilitation of our Empowering Youth Employment Readiness Program. Tyler is an alumnus from the Child and Youth Care Program at Seneca College and has been passionately working with Regesh for over 5 years.


Shelley Lutov (BComm)

Social Media Marketer

Shelley joined our team in March 2022 and handles all things related to digital marketing. She helps to promote Regesh’s various programs, such as EYER, and is responsible for administrative tasks at the office. Shelley has a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Elena Serra (MACP)

Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist

Elena Serra is a Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. She holds a Master of Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University. As an integrative therapist, she has a warm, client-led approach, integrating elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and other approaches. She has been working with a broad range of clients and presenting concerns since 2020. Elena helps individuals, couples and families aged 13+ with problems such as trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, overeating, and personality disorders. She specializes in complex PTSD.

We offer college and university students the opportunity for on-site learning through student placements within our programs.
